Steven W. Baldwin

Steven W. Baldwin, a native Washingtonian and graduate of the University of Maryland, is a serial information technology entrepreneur and also an owner of the Washington Spirit of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

After completing 6 years in sales for Data General Corporation, Mr. Baldwin began his entrepreneurial career with Concept Automation Inc.  His second business, Apptis, grew to more than 1600 employees.  Mr. Baldwin is currently the Chairman of Qbase LLC and Finch Computing.  Qbase is an IT services firm in the federal IT market and Finch Computing is a predictive data analytics/AI/machine learning business with more than 30 patents in data compression, in-memory high performance computing, entity resolution, and artificial intelligence.

In 2019, Mr. Baldwin became the Managing Partner of the Washington Spirit of the NWSL.  The NWSL is the best women’s soccer league in the world with every player on the U.S. Women’s National Team playing in the league.
