Ms. Ingrid Solis serves as the Augmenting Intelligence using Machines (AIM) Initiative Champion within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). She is a collaborator on the interagency team developing the AIM implementation strategy and portfolio based approach for IC wide execution of critical mission challenges. Solis is a Senior Intelligence Executive Manager and served over 8 years leading, managing and expanding the mission customer base of a premier Counterterrorism programs with proven success in mission efforts, data science, super computing capabilities and complex massive data. She has also served within the Chief Information Officers organization as an applications architect and as Chief of various technical groups.
Solis came to the Agency after spending twelve years of her professional career in the private sector. She began with General Electric (GE) and spent three years in GE’s highly selective executive technical leadership program designed to accelerate professional development through intensive technical training and a variety of business- critical assignments. She led the technical design and development of multiple systems to support high volume transactions across multiple retail, bank and financial services businesses to include designing and developing applications that automated supplier auctions and bidding attributes on the internet yielding a US Patent. Solis managed multiple Six Sigma IT and business optimization projects and led a global cross functional team that developed a Disaster Recovery Plan for removing single points of failure across globally deployed systems.
Subsequent to her time with GE, Solis was a senior associate for Price Waterhouse Consulting. At PwC she led teams that identified key IT system audit controls for protecting the integrity of data across multiple systems that supported various financial institutions.
Solis holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from St. John’s University, NY; a Masters of Science in Computer & Information Science from Hood College MD; and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD. Solis is also a Six Sigma Black-belt and is Project Management certified.
