Curt Rasmussen

Curtis “Curt” Rasmussen currently works for Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s National Risk Management Center (NRMC) within the Department of Homeland Security. Rasmussen, along with his colleagues, study a range of topics that include cyber breach types and factors across all industries, probability of a successful cyberattack on voting systems, data quality, and the potential of using AI/ML to improve understanding of systemic risk within infrastructure.

His research interests include temporal thinking, cognitive psychology, neuroscience, AI/ML, and human-machine systems.

Rasmussen holds a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Walden University, and an MA in Intelligence Studies (Operations), and a BA in Homeland Security from American Military University.
